Artemis the Greek goddess of hunters, wildlife, young girls, wilderness and childbirth (Eileithyia being the main goddess of childbirth). Her mother is Leto and her Father is Zeus. She and her twin brother Apollo was hated by Hera but Zeus promised them one thing each. To Artemis he gave her a silver bow n arrows and promised to keep her young, pure and innocent and to let her have a group of huntresses along with her to her brother a chariot (depending where you read either pulled by swans or fiery steeds) Her patron animal is the stag or deer.
There are many myths about what happens when you look at Artemis bathing..one prominent one was of Actaeon, he saw Artemis bathing and once she saw him she turned him into a stag. Then allowed her hounds to rip him to shreds.
